23 Weeks 0 Days

Nanette had an ultrasound today and both babies are larger than normal at their gestational age.  Babies A and B  are at the 67th and 65th percentiles, respectively.  Still, they are about one and a half pounds and are in the previable state.  This means that we will not intervene if the babies are born this week.

Jared spent the night with Nanette on the wonderful contraption that can only be described as a "pseudo-bed". They have received a tremendous show of support from family and friends.

Since Nanette was stable and not in labor, she was moved to the Women's Special Care unit---just a place where all sorts of troubled pregnant women hang out.  The best case scenario is for Nanette to remain in this unit as long as possible.
